A laptop in Peshawar
The story starts in 2008. A single laptop, a willingness to say yes, and a market full of local businesses that needed websites, international clients who needed code remote-delivered, and government tenders that someone had to bid on. We built whatever the work demanded — and learned every stack along the way.
From freelance to a software house
The freelance work outgrew the laptop. We formalised it as FamzSolutions: a Peshawar software house serving local SMEs, public-sector clients, and a growing list of long-term engagements. FamzSolutions still operates today, as a sister concern under the AI Systems umbrella — kept active for the loyal clients who came along for the journey.
Three clients, one IT Exhibition.
2013 was the year that locked in our reputation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:
- We powered Motorway Express with a ticketing and cargo management system that went live in 2013 and ran for seven straight years until they upgraded through another vendor.
- We built and shipped the school management system for The Falcon School, Mardan. It's still in production today — twelve-plus years later — and now being rebranded under AI Campus.
- We co-hosted the first-ever IT Exhibition & Job Fair in the province, alongside Gravity IT Solutions and the KP IT Board.
Numerous projects. One platform serving millions.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police became a FamzSolutions client in 2017 and remained one for years. We delivered a long list of projects for them — the standout being the provincial driving licence management platform, an ASP.NET Web Forms application backed by SQL Server. It has served millions of applicants and is still in production after nine years. The KP Police engagement remains one of the platforms we're most proud of, and a reminder of what the right software can do when it's allowed to run.
A system crash, recovered.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faculty of Paramedical Sciences called us in after their previous vendor's system crashed and left their operations dark. We recovered every byte of their data, migrated them to a new platform we built from the ground up, and got them live again — issuing diplomas, running OMR-based examinations, and serving students continuously since. The engagement covered OMR-as-a-service and software development; the platform is still in production today.
Co-founding a travel-tech startup
We then co-founded and led Travsol Technologies — a travel-tech startup serving Pakistani and Gulf markets. Travsol's most visible work was powering mosafir.pk's flight, hotel and Umrah operations from behind the scenes. Travsol's intellectual property is now being formally consolidated, and the next-generation product will relaunch as Travnetic under the AI Systems umbrella.
The consolidation year
Everything under one roof, finally. AI Systems is a multi-entity technology group operating from Pakistan and the United Kingdom (with two more jurisdictions in formation). Three AI-native platforms in production, eight more in active development, and a full engineering services arm covering software, infrastructure, AI, data, security and strategy.

Four convictions that shape every line of code we ship.
01 AI matters — but most of the noise doesn't.
AI is the most important shift in software since the cloud. Most of what's being said about it is noise. Real value comes from putting AI inside production systems that people actually use every day. That's what we build.
02 Engineering excellence is not optional.
We don't ship things we wouldn't trust to run our own businesses. The bar is the same whether the customer is a Peshawar travel agency or a London enterprise.
03 Owner-operator beats account-manager.
The people who write the code should also talk to the customer. No translation layer between the keyboard and the conversation.
04 Build for emerging markets first.
We build for the places bigger software companies overlook. If it works for a school in interior Sindh or a hosting client in Karachi, it works anywhere.
